A jet of filtered air cleans the area of the panel being imaged, reducing clean room requirements for the system as a whole. The proprietary xDI multi-exposure system prevents shadows from dust particles in the air degrading the image.

Low total power requirement.
The system has a low quiescent power requirement of 350 W when idle, increasing to 1.5 KW during plotting, more than half of which is taken by the vacuum pump used for board hold down – the system can run on single phase power. No warming up time: As soon as the system controllers have powered up, and the mechanics have initialized, the system is ready to go.

Compact optical system – no drifting.
The xDI optical system does not need to span the whole plotting surface, minimizing thermal effects due to optical components heating up.

Real time rasterization.
The system rasterizes images on the fly, allowing dynamic adaptation to scaling and rotation of the panel within the imaging system.

Upgradeable.
